Our first guest blogger is our very own Nica, who has been dancing with us from the start! She took a trip to O`ahu and looking at her photos is almost (almost!) like being there. Read on! Here I am at Ko`olina Beach. I might be doing basics in the water... ‘Iolani Palace, by far one of the highlights of my trip. Very educational. I recommend doing this at least once. We are proud to present 'Nā Wai Ola: Waters of Life' with music by Kolohe and drumming by Te Otui Fenua.Please join us for an evening of Hawaiian and Tahitian music and dance! Water, in its many forms, has an integral role in ancient and current Polynesian tradition and culture, and we honor and celebrate 'wai'—this sacred life source -- with a concert featuring our dancers and musicians. Kiki Raina Tahiti Fete!
In March of 2014, we went to our very first group competition! We entered an ahuroa program to the Kiki Raina Tahiti Fete in Merced, CA. And we rocked it! Here we are!
