Our 2018 Ho'ike!

On September 30, 2018, we held our ho'ike, titled Journeys: Nā Huakaʻi: Journeys. And the show was all about journeys. Our teachers choreographed dances with this theme in mind, and we interpreted 'journeys' in different ways:

• Physical journeys: voyages, travel, migration

• Life journeys: growing up, falling in love, heartbreaks, weddings, motherhood, gaining wisdom and experience and sharing them with the next generation

• Journeys of the mind and spirit: remembering moments from the past, imagining a new future

We had so much fun putting the show together and performing to an audience of 600 super supportive family and friends! Below are a few highlights:
